Airbus A 300

Since its service entry in 1974 with Air France, the A300 has been extensively developed and updated.

The A300 was Airbus Industrie's first aircraft.

Consortium founders saw the need for an efficient, twin-engine widebody transport able to serve short, medium and long-range routes.

The A300 has been designed by the same engineers as the ones that worked on the Concord.
