In 2003 every evening
roughly between 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm
US
airways flights with
Boeing
767-200ER and
Airbus
A330-300 leave
Philadelphia
to Europe (
Paris,
Amsterdam,
Munich,
Madrid) arriving
there in the morning the next day between 8:00 am and 11:00 am.
It's a short night out there above the Atlantic Ocean. When you fly
from the West to the East sunrise is quickly there. The first day in
Europe is always a sleepy one.
Flight time is about 7 to 8 hours.
In 2003 US airways was flying 9 Airbus A330 - 11 Boeing 767 - 34 Boeing
757 - 113 Airbus A320 - 181 Boeing 737 - 21 MD-80 and 40 Fokker 100.
In 2007 US airways added
Brussels as a destination from
Philadelphia, but these flights were done with a
Boeing 757-200.
