Scandinavian airlines is based in Copenhagen (Denmark), Stockholm (Sweden)and Oslo (Norway).
In 2005 they used 7 Airbus A340-300 and 4 Airbus A330-300. The Boeing 767 had left the fleet. As they had taken over Braathens and Spanair, Sas group fleet grew with Airbus A320 family aircraft, MD 80 and 90 family aircraft, as wel as many other types of aircraft.
In 2003 the fleet of Scandinavian airlines consisted of 70 MD 80 and 90 family airplanes, 55 Boeing 737 (737-600/700/800). For the long haul they used 5 Boeing 767, 7 Airbus A340 and 3 Airbus A330 airplanes. They also used 31 twin engined turboprop 50 seater airplanes for short distances.
