The Boeing 737-400 was intruduced in 1988. It was a strech of the original -300.

It normally seats between 147 and 168 passengers and has a maximum range of 4.000 km.

The lenght of the 737-400 is 36,45 meter.

The production of the 737-400 ceased in 2000, after delivery of 486 airliners.

Typical for the 737-400 are the two exit doors above the wing. The 737-300 and 737-500 only have one.

The 737-400 is a 737 classic, and no match for the better Airbus A320. Only with the Next Generation 737 airlines Boeing could compete with the A320 falmily.
