The Surinam Airways Airbus A340-300 landing on Polderbaan at Amsterdam Schiphol airport early 2011. This airliner seems to be flying the route Panamaribo-Amsterdam three times a week. 

Early 2011 this former Air France Airbus A340-300 is the only widebody airliner in the fleet of Surinam Airways. It replaced the former KLM Boeing 747-300 late 2010.


Upon douchdown the spoilers are deployed. This reduces lift dramatically as a result of which the weight of the airliner is transferred to its wheels.
