Air Jamaica


Air Jamaica has it's hub in Kingston.


By 2014 the airline is owned by Caribbean Airlines and the brand Air Jamaica is phased out.

In 2004 their fleet had 16 airplanes: 7 Airbus A 320, 6 Airbus A321 and 3 Airbus A340-300.

They fly between Jamaica (Kingston, Montego Bay) and North America in 2006 (New York, Miami, Washington, Chicago). They also connect Jamaica with Europe (London) in 2005.

It was the national airline of Jamaica. In 1994, the Government of Jamaica embarked on a privatization exercise. The Air Jamaica Acquisition Group (AJAG) acquired majority ownership of the national airline with the government retaining a minority stake.
