In 2005 Egyptair used 12 Airbus A320, 4 Airbus A321 and 2 Airbus A330-200. They had plans to add 5 more A 330-200 in 2006 and retire the 5 Airbus A300-600 they were using in 2005. In 2005 they still used the 3 Airbus A340-200, the 2 Boeing 747-300 (which were delivered in 1988), the 5 Boeing 777-200 and the 4 Boeing 737-500.

On June 22nd 2004 Egyptair has taken delivery of the first of seven Airbus A330-200s on order.

In 2004 Egypt air used a fleet of 7 Airbus A300-600, and 11 aircraft of the Airbus A320 family. They also used 3 Airbus A340-200. They also used 5 Boeing 777 and 2 Boeing 747-300. They also used 4 Boeing 737-500. They also had 2 Airbus A300 cargo airplanes.
