There is an international airport at Mehrabad, 6 miles (10 km) west of central Tehran; two smaller airportsat Qal'eh Morghi and Daushan-Tapehare used by small aircraft.
Imam Khomeini International Airport is located some 30km to the south of Tehran on the Tehran-Qom highway.
