Central Japan International Airport (Centrair) (NGO)
The airport opened in 2005 and was the 3th airport in Japan built on a man-made island.
The island is located 35km (22 miles) south of Nagoya in Ise Bay.
The airport was given the nickname ‘Centrair' after a public naming competition.

The Nagoya Railroad takes you from Nagoya Station to Centrair in only 28 minutes.
The Airport Station is connected to the terminal building by a levelled connection passage.
It takes 30-40 minutes to drive from central Nagoya to Centrair.
