Abu Dhabi is less than two hours away by bus from Dubai. Abu Dhabi is the capital the Abu Ahabi emirate and the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

The city of Abu Dhabi has a port and an international airport. The national airline is Etihad. From Abu Dhabi Etihad offers a wide range of intercontinental flights in 2009 with a variety of aircraft.

In 2008, passenger traffic at Abu Dhabi airport achieved a record 9.02 million passengers, up by 30.2 per cent from 6.9 million passengers in 2007.

Terminal 3 opened in january 2009. It's dedicated to Etihad and has 10 gates of which 2 are bus gates and 2 are A380 compatible. This terminal has an annual capacity of 5 million passengers.
