Laguardia airport (LGA)

This was the primary international airport of New York in the late 1930's to the beginning of WWII and just after WWII.

Pan Am operated it's flying boat services at the still existing Marine Ocean Terminal (used by the Delta Shuttle services in 2009).

Today JFK and EWR are the international gatesways to New York.
