Terminal 1 was opened in 2006 with a capacity
of 6 million and it's the
international terminal in 2009. This terminal seems to have 14 telescopic gates in 2009.
Terminal 2 was
renovated in 2007. It has a cacacity of 2,5 million with 7 gates. In
2009 it's the domestic terminal.
Terminal 3 in 2009 seems to be the former domestic terminal which is used for charter and pelgrim flights in 2009.
Total traffic at Algiers airport has increased for 2,6 million in 2003
to over 7 million in 2008. In 2009 there are plans to construct a new terminal with a capacity for 20 million.
