above: an Alitalia
Airbus A320 at Amsterdam Schiphol airport in 2009.
Alitalia flies
48
Airbus A320 in november 2009. But some of those are Air One A320
airliners. It seems they keep the Air One livey. But the airline is
also adding more A320 airliners they ordered. Deliveries are planned to
continue until June 2010. These airliners will replace the Boeing
737-300 and 737-400 and the McDonnell Douglas MD-82 in
their fleet.
Alitalia and Air One Airbus A320 situation in november 2009 is as follows:
13 A320-214 with 153 seats are in the fleet.
35 A320-216 with 165 seats are in the fleet, with 30 extra on order. Also they have 25 options.
So they fly 48 Airbus A320 airliners and have 30 extra on order.
