KLM offers flights from
Amsterdam
Schiphol Airport (AMS) to
Madrid
(MAD)
in
the summer of 2009. In May 2010 KLM seems to offer at least 5 daily
flights, all with Boeing 737-800 and 737-900. Flighttime around 2 hours
30 minutes.
Easyjet
strated the route in 2009. They seem to offer 2 daily flights in May 2010. The
airbus A319 is
the backbone of the EasyJet fleet in 2007, with 107 airliners. Up from
31 in 2003. But in 2003 EasyJet has 73 Boeing 737, compared to just 30
Boeing 737 in 2007. Easyjet got a deal for 120 Airbus A319 at a very good price, with
a price protection for an additional 120 Airbus A319 airliners. Each EasyJet A319 can seat 156 passengers.
IBERIA is
also active on this route. They seems to offer around 11 flights a
week.It seems almost all
IBERIA flights in 2010 between Madrid and Amsterdam are with the Airbus A320, and some with the A321. In 2009
IBERIA seems to fly 47 Airbus A320 airliners.
