| Departures: Mumbai - London - Singapore - Hong Kong - Brussels Terminals: In 2010 terminal 3
openend at Delhi airport, ready for 34 million passengers
just at this terminal. This terminal has a domestic side
and an international side with the main hall in the
middle. Passengers: with over 35 million in 2010 this was India's bussiest airport Long haul to Europe: London - Brussel Metro: seems to be operation from 5 am till 11 pm in 2012. This airport is connected to the metro. Hotels: there seems to be no a single hotel direct within walking distance of terminal 3 in 2012. This with the exception of some rooms with limited use. Nearby the airport are some hotels. Closest is the Centaur hotel in 2012, but it was constructed in 1982. The IBIS (with 465 rooms) seems to be opening in 2013. JW Marriot , Hyatt, are all at aerocity metro stop, nearby terminal 3 but not really within walking distance (over 2 miles) . Lemon tree hotel and Red Fox hotel. The SAS Blu is good, but the neighbourhood is not the best there accross the highway. You might be better off at aerocity metro stop. Hotels in Delhi Delhi is the capital and one of the largest cities of India. March and April are probably a good time of the year to visit as it's warm without the rain. From June till September it's the rainy season and it's also very hot. In winter it might get cold. |
