In october 2009 there seem
to be around 30 flights a week from
Dusseldorf
to
Copenhagen
with Star Alliance. Scandinavian airlines often flies their new
Bombardier Canadair
Regional Jets (CRJ 900) on this route in september 2009.
Above: one of the Scandinavian CRJ 900 ER (or LR?) en route to
the runway at
Dusseldorf international on a Sunday afrernoon in september
2009.
It seems that the Canadair Regional Jets CRJ-900 with Sas
Scandinavian
have the following registration marks: OY-KFA, OY-KFB, OY-KFC,
.... and
so on. It seems they have ordered 13 of them. 10 would go to
Scandinavian airlines and 3 to Estonian Air.
Delivery of OY-KFA was December 2nd 2008 and July 18th OY-KFH
(the 8th
airliner) was deliverd, more being added. All these were regular
CRJ
900,
except OY-KFF, as seen on
the image above, which is a longer ranger
version. On January 7th 2010 the 12th CRJ 900 (OY-KFM)
will be
devivered to Scandinavian airlines.
The CRJ-900 were ordered to primarily serve the
Copenhagen Kastrup hub.
The Sas CRJ-900 has 88 seats (2-2 so 22 rows).
Deliveries of
the
CRJ-900 started in 2003. The lenght of the
airliner is 36,40 m. The CRJ-900 has a range of about 3.000 km
and the
CRJ-900 ER a range of 3.500 km.
