Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok international airport (HKG)

Terminals: Hong Kong Chek Lap Kok was designed by the British architect Norman Foster. It opened in 1998 and was constructed on a partly artificial island. The years afterwards this airport was always voted 'best airport of the world'. The airport has 2 runways. In 2006 the aiprort was used by over 44 million passengers. And it handled 3,6 million tons of cargo.

Railway: The airport has it's own railway towards the city center. Hong Kong airport also has connections to mainland China. In the Guangdong province you find Guangzhou and Shenzen.

Airline: Cathay Pacific is the largest airline at the airport.
