Emirates A380-800 in Hong Kong

In 2010 Emirates used their A380 on the route. It's a tag on the flight to Bangkok and a non-stop flight.

From April 1the 2011 Emirates will use the fleet of more than 15 delivered Airbus A380 airliners as follows:

daily between Dubai and the following destinations:

New York
(JFK) - Manchester, UK - Paris (CDG) - Bangkok - Hong Kong - Seoul - BeijingSydney

To London (LHR) they will offer 3 daily flights with an A380.

Toronto will be served 3 times a week with by A380.

Jeddah will be served 2 times daily with an A380.

The flight to Bangkok will continue to Hong Kong

The flight to Sydney will continue to Auckland.

The daily flight to Shanghai is subject to approval.

In September 2010 Emirates had 15 A380 airliners delivered with 75 extra on order.
But from 2011 they will start to phase out all other equipment in their fleet except:
10 Boeing 777-200LR and 53 Boeing 777-300ER with 49 extra on order.

Cathay Pacific

CATHAY PACIFIC offers 2 daily flights between Hong Kong Chek Lap (HKG) and Dubai (DXB) in january 2011.

They fly their Airbus A330 on the route. There is a departure at 1:00 am and one at 4:40 pm. The flighttime is 9 hours.

The late afternoon departure at 4:40 pm gives you the opportunity to arrive in Dubai at 9:45 pm local time.
