Some of the 40 flights a
week from Munich
are operated by Air Domomiti with the Embraer E195 in 2009. Also the flights from Munich to Milan
) seem to be with the E-195.
Above: an Air Domomiti Embraer
E195 at Munich Airport (MUC) in october 2009.
In 1999 Lufthansa started buying shares of this Italian airline. Since
2009 Lufthansa owns Air Domomiti 100 procent. But the Italian airline
remains flying under it's own name. It's part of Lufthansa regional.
In 2009 it seems that Air Dolomiti has 5 Embarer
195 airlines in it's fleet and they were all delivered in 2009. The
only other airliners in the fleet are 13 ATR turboprops.
The Air Dolomiti Embraer 195 seats 112.
Also Augsburg Airways (also a Lufthansa regional airline) has 5 Embraer
E195 airliners in 2009.
And Lufthansa cityline would take 20 E195 jets. But these haven't been
delivered yet in 2009.
That makes a total of 30 E195 jets for Lufthansa.
But Swiss international airlines (also taken over by Lufthansa) is the
launch customer for the Bombardier CS100 with an order
in 2009) of 30 which each will seat 115 passengers. In 2009 the
Bombardier CS100 isn't flying yet. It still has to be designed.
