Rome Leonardo da Vinci airport is the largest airport of Italy. It's home to most of the long haul flights  of Alitalia in 2011. There are also long haul flights from visiting airlines, but some of these flights are only offered during the Summer season.

This is the largest airport of Italy with almost 34 million passengers in 2009.

Railway: The airport has a railway station. It's loacted in front of the terminals.

Terminals: All terminals are located next to each other in 2010.

Location: This airport openend in 1961 as replacement for the Rome Ciampino airport (CIA).
It's located further from the city center, right next to the coastline.

Airlines: Alitalia is the main player at the airport in 2010.
