In 2012 they still have just two runways and are slot restricted.  A third passenger terminal would be completed in 2014, but plans for a third runway were canacelled, for being technically impracticable.

Terminals: In 2010 the airport seems to have a capacity of around 20 million passengers and over 21 million passengers used the airport. In 2010 this is the largest airport in Brasil.
