Tallinn Lennart Meri airport (TLL)  is located only 4 km from the city center. In 2008 a brand new terminal was openend as the old construction from the soviet era had "bad toilets". Between 1998 and 2008 the airport has seen an traffic increase from around half a million passengers to over 1,8 million passengers. But in 2009 traffic dropped again to around 1,346,000 passengers a year. In 2011 the airport feels brandnew, clean, but it has overcapacity.
