is located only 4 km from the city center. In 2008 a brand
new terminal was openend as the old construction from the
soviet era had "bad toilets". Between 1998 and 2008 the
airport has seen an traffic increase from around half a
million passengers to over 1,8 million passengers. But in
2009 traffic dropped again to around 1,346,000 passengers
a year. In 2011 the airport feels brandnew, clean, but it

heritage site. Here you will find the 5-star hotels and
it's an area safe for foreign visitors. June might be the
finest month for a visit, as it's warm enough without too
