A daytrip in the weekend  to the 'Ardennes' from the city of Antwerp

In the weekend you can take a direct train from Antwerp Central to Leuven at 32 minutes after the hour. From there you can catch the  fast train from Brussels over Leuven; Liege, and get off at Verviers. From Verviers Central station, you can take a local train towards the Ardennes.
