Second largest city of Spain on the Mediterranean Sea. Barcelona is an extended city. Walking is too exhausing, but there are several metro lines availabe.

The nearby airport offers in februari 2010 a constant flow of busrides towards it's Playa Catolunya, the heart of the city center, with the famous Ramblas connected to this square.
