Hong Kong is the city with the most skyscrapers in in world in 2011. The city has a sub tropical climate. You have Hong Kong Island. Here you find the International Financial Center. From here you can walk towards the Pier and take a ferry ride to the other part of the city center. The airport is located on another island. You can reach it by fast train from the International Financial Center. In the upper market area near the Pier on Hong Kong Island you can catch a double deck tramway and follow the coastline and see plenty more shops and restaurants and even discover markets.

Hong Kong Island has been build on reclaimed land near the Pier. In 2011 construction work is still going on to exend the land here. From the Pier you can walk over walking bridges towards the Ferry terminal for a 1 hour ride to Macau.

On the main land you will find plenty more hotels. This area is older. More 1970s or 80s. In 2010 this area on the mainland is a very bussy and touristed area. But the International Financial center on Hong Kong Island is more modern. The Four Seasons is the best business hotel right in the heart of the International Financial Center. There is also a shopping mall. On the rooftop of this shopping mall are restaurants and bars with a great view on the sea and the other side of Hong Hong.

In Hong Kong you should really go to the Peak. You should reach it by a special dedicated train, which you can take in the area right behind the bank of China skyscraper. This is in the Financial district near the Pier.

At the Pier on Hong Kong Island you can take a ferry to Miu Wo. This is a great place if you want to enjoy some great food. All day long there are plenty of ferry rides to Miu Wo. And right next to the ferry terminal at Miu Wo you will find a collection of restaurants right next to the sea. And the preapre great food in a wok.The is also a nice white stand beach here. A long time ago an American woman owned a hotel at this beach, but she sold it. In 2010 it still needed renovation of at least some of the rooms. The owner seem to be the Miramar group, who also own a 5-star hotel and shopping center on the main shopping street of Hong Kong. Once the rooms have been renovated, the hotel at the beach in Miu Wo could be a great place to stay and take a ferry to Hong Kong. You might enjoy more comfort, sunshine, a swimming pool and a beach. But be warned. Hong Kong has no tropical climate, but a sub tropical climate. So in November the seawater temparature drops below 17 degrees celcius, which becomes intolerable for swimming for the average human.
