Capital and largest city of Italy. Located inland on both banks of the Tiber river on several hills. During the Summer Rome is flooded with tourists from all over the world.

Nearby just near the sea is the largest airport of Italy. Getting by train from the airport to the Terminin railwaystation is expensive in 2009.

After the fall of the Roman Empire the city of Rome became a forgotten town, untill Napoleon liberated the Italians from Habsburg rule. The process of unification of Italy started in 1815 with the Congress of Vienna,

and it's unclear, as most thing in Italy, when it ended. In 2011 Rome is the political capital and largest city of Italy, but Milan is the economical capital.
