With a population of around 400.000 in a country of 1,4 million, Tallinn doesn't have a huge size. The city is today the capital of Estonia, one of the Baltic States. During the Middle Ages Tallinn was an Hansetic city. It's located near Helsinki, within a short ferry ride accross the gulf of Finland.
