Valencia is a Spanish city on the Mediterranean Sea. It's a city of agriculture. There was a small fishing port, which today is absorbed into the city, but the city center is slightly inland on the Tura river. The coastline near Valencia is one of white sandy beaches and several efforts to build a port have failled, but in 2011 the port of Valencia is the largest Spanish port with around 55 million tonnes of cargo.
Once you get on the metro at the airport, and you want to reach the heart of the city, you need to go to the Xativa metro station.
