This worldfamous little French port attracts more millions of visitors than any other place in France, except Paris.
In 2009 to charter a yacht with 3 decks like to one above (the white
one), comes with a pricetag of around 100.000 euro for one week.
There is no railway station, but there is a large busstation for transport in the area. And the port has limited
ferry services. If you come by car, you can park it and visit the entire village on
foot. By train you will need to come by
Saint-Raphael Valescure. From there you can get to St.-Tropez bu boat or bus.
The Quai is the place to see all the
yachts of the rich and famous. During the daytime a nice place to stay with your yacht is
Cap Taillat.
St.-Tropez has excellent high end shopping, bars and restaurants.
The nearest airports are:
Toulon,
Nice and Marseille.
