Victoria Coach Station

Victoria Coach Station was opened on its present site in 1932, by London Coastal Coaches Limited, an association of Coach Operators.

It covers slightly less than three acres of ground on the corner of Buckingham Palace Road and Elizabeth Street, just half a mile from Buckingham Palace, and it replaced a Coach Terminal in Lupus Street, Pimlico,

It is owned by the National Express Group, the largest independent coach operator, which operates a daily scheduled network of coach services to 1200 destinations around Britain.

Eurolines (UK) is the second largest coach operator operating from the coach station, serving over 300 European destinations.

Many other operators leave from the coach station but only produce leaflets for fares and destinations, and competition is extremely fierce with the two main operators.
