Genoa railway stations, northern Italy
Genoa has severall large 19th century railwaystations, which are linked
by 19th century tunnels through the steap hills on which the city is
build. The two largest railway stations are Piaza Principe (PP) and Brignole.

There is a railway line which
follow the Italian coastline towards Monaco and France (Nice). But
service here is slow and reaching Monaco and Nice wil take you at
least 4 hours and only a very limited numer of direct trains are
available wich follow this coastline track.
The alternaltive to reach France is via Milan.
